The National African-American School Board Member Association
via
our summits continuously brings together leading educators,
politicians, community activists, and school board members from
around the country to examine solutions and best practices to
eliminate the achievement gap that plagues African American youth.
As an organization extremely committed to
developing solutions and policies to increase student achievement
and eradicate the achievement gap, we encourage all stakeholders to
join as wide spread support and participation is crucial to
assisting us in accomplishing this goal.
Instead of simply focusing on the problem, the National African
American School Board Member Association will concentrate on
finding solutions to the challenges that confront our youth. Those
solutions will position our young people to compete on an
international level.
The success of our ultimate goal - increasing student achievement
for African American youth - is dependent upon the participation and
leadership of school board members and superintendents from around
the country regardless of nationality.
